  If ever there was a ‘not to be missed for quids’ night at the BJC – Friday night was one of them. The sexy, sassy Karen Anderson, who owns the stage when she’s performing, created an unforgettable night of jazz, blues and soul - much to the delight of a very appreciative audience.

  You can ‘hear’ Karen’s smile when she’s singing, and her interaction with band members showed us how good music can sound when performed by such passionate, experienced, professional musicians – who constantly interact and share the enjoyment of their skills. Karen’s repertoire was faultless, ranging from toe tapping blues to sensitive numbers, from the opener to the encore – sometimes leaving me breathless and speechless from the sheer joy of watching and listening.
